EYEBEAM CENTER FOR ART + TECHNOLOGY

Eyebeam Center for Art + Technology is a leading non-profit arts organization supporting artists working at the crossroads of art and technology.

Eyebeam commissioned WORKac to design their new space in the BAM Cultural District in Brooklyn. Through a thorough investigation of Eyebeam's operational needs, the complex site requirements within a mixed-use development, and a detailed study of the history of the creative workspace, this project aspires to create a vibrant and inspiring space for artists working at the cutting edge of technology.

This project consists of 27,000sf of artist studio space, prototyping labs, audio & video recording facilities, and flexible exhibition & performance space. Eyebeam's relocation to their interim accommodation in Industry City was also facilitated.

Role: As project architect for WORKac. For more information about this project, go to www.work.ac and www.eyebeam.org.
